Terms of Use

Effective 12th September 2026 · REZ for Android

The short version

Your photographs are yours. Posting one here lets REZ show it in the app and nothing beyond that; delete it and it goes.

You are responsible for what you post, and for having the right to post it. Anything that would make this place worse to be in gets removed, and accounts that keep doing it stop having accounts.

REZ is free, small, and made by one person. It comes with no promise that it will stay up or keep working, so keep your own copies of anything that matters.

01 The agreement

REZ is provided by SEAN BURRAGE, trading as brokoz - "we" and "us" below. Using REZ means accepting these terms; you say so explicitly the first time you sign in.

They should be read alongside the Privacy Policy, which describes what is held about you and why.

02 Who can use REZ

03 Your account and your handle

Your handle is chosen once and is permanent for the life of the account. It belongs to the account that claimed it, not to you personally, and we may reclaim one that is impersonating somebody, that passes itself off as official, or that exists to abuse another person.

If you delete your account, the handle is held for 60 days and then becomes available to somebody else.

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at hello@brokoz.com if you think somebody else is using it.

04 Your photographs

You keep every right you have in what you post. We claim no ownership of it.

By posting, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce and display that photograph for the purpose of running REZ - showing it in the feed, on your profile, and to anybody the app shows it to. That licence exists so the app can function, it is not transferable to anybody else, and it ends when you delete the photograph or your account. We will not use your photographs to advertise REZ without asking you first.

You confirm that you have the right to post what you post, and that doing so breaks nobody else's rights.

Worth knowing how REZ works: a photograph here is reduced to a few hundred bytes, and anybody can save or export what they can see. A photograph you post can be copied. That is true of every app, and it is more obviously true of this one.

05 What you may not post

Nothing on REZ may:

Nor may you attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or work around the limits of the service, or access anybody's account but your own.

06 Reporting and enforcement

Every photograph and every account can be reported from inside the app, and any account can be blocked. Blocking hides an account from you completely; it does not tell them, and it does not stop them seeing what you post.

Reports are reviewed. Where something breaks these rules we may remove it, restrict what an account can do, or remove the account, with or without warning depending on how serious it is. We aim to be proportionate, and we will always act immediately on anything involving a child.

If you think we got it wrong, write to hello@brokoz.com and say so. A person will read it.

07 Ending it

You can delete your account at any time, from inside the app, and it is immediate. See Deleting your account for what goes and what is kept.

We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms, or where we are required to. If REZ itself is discontinued we will give reasonable notice in the app so that you can export anything you want to keep.

08 What REZ promises, and does not

REZ is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available, uninterrupted, free of faults, or that anything you post will be preserved. It is a small app run by one person on infrastructure neither of us controls. Keep your own copies of anything that matters to you.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost photographs, lost profits, lost data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from using REZ. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited - and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

09 Changes

REZ changes, and these terms change with it. The date at the top says when they last did. Material changes are announced in the app before they take effect. Carrying on using REZ after that means accepting them; if you would rather not, you can delete your account.

10 Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England, Wales, Scotland and Nothern Ireland, and disputes go to the courts of Scotland. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory laws where you live, or your right to bring a claim in your local courts.
